First the SB1070 racism argument, now there are racist billboards???

Paul Babeu, the Pinal County Sheriff told Fox news this suday that he is willing to meet with the owner of a billboard displaying a picture of a hispanic family with a quote by Babeu stating "This is our most serious public safety issue and a national security threat to America." Babeu stated that the billboard slandered him and law enforcement. The owner of the billboard, Frank Pierson, stated that he posted the billboard of the family next to the quote because he wants citizens to "Step up" and tell congress to enforce immigration laws. Pierson also stated that he posted the image to show that millions of illegal immigrants are not in the United States to do harm to its citizens.
Babeu stated, "I find it to be highly inappropriate and blantantly false to put my quote there with a picture of a very innocent and obviously Hispanic family."

Babeu concluded that by casting a racial pall over the border security issue is to do a disservice to national security and law enforcement.

I personally could not believe someone would even think to post a quote like that next to a picture of any minority family.
What do you guys think about the billboard???

  1. It is unbelievable the nerve people have to say things like this towards hispanics! It seems like people attack us because supposedly only hispanics do the crime in the Unites states. If one person is doing it so is everyone else. I dont know if you heard of this sign they posted, I think it was in Florida it said illegal alien crossing on a cross walk! It is truly unbelievable to what level people are taking racism to.
