Legendary QB George Blanda dies at 83

George Blanda played longer than anyone in pro football history and ranked the most points in a career spanned for decades. He played with the Chicago Bears and the Oklahoma Raider. Blanda entered the NFL out of Kentucky as a 12th round pick of the Chicago Bears in 1949. His playing time as a quarterback quickly diminished and he retired at the age of 49.Unfortunately this great man passed away this Monday at the age of 83 where his career finally came to an end for good. With his amazing performances Blanda inspired millions of fans over a 26-year career. He will be truly missed.
