It's a bit TOASTY in California and Oklahoma

A fire broke out in an oklahoma campsite causing an evacuation of 300 homes and 120 campsites. The fire was belived to have started through an ember from a camp fire. The fire bruned 300 ancers and was contained Monday in the afternoon. Also on Monday a Wildfire spread quickly through the area also prompting evacuations. The fire is near a very populated area and fire crews are mainly focoused on the houses and community. The fire is likely to burn for several days before fire crews conatin it.

  1. Hey Eric - thank you for this story. My father is a fire chief in one of the Nogales area fire districts so whenever I come across stories like this one I always feel a connection to the people who combat these huge infernos. Hopefully we won't be seeing a repeat of recent years where we had huge fires in some of the mountains here in Southern AZ.
