Murdering for fun??

Despite all the prescription drugs a soldier in iraq was taking he videotaped a statement describing how he and his fellow soldiers were randomly killed three Afghan civilians! An investigator testified Monday at a hearing that it is one of the most serious war-crimes cases to come from the Afghan war. Capitan Jeremy Morlock of Wasilla, Alaska, is one of the five soldiers charged with premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit premeditated murder. In the interviews with Army investigators, he said it was the idea of Staff Sgt. Calvin Gibbs to randomly kill civilians while on patrol in Kandahar Province. They have collected souvenir of the corpses and are even taking pictures with them! The lawyers are saying that it was because of all the trauma they face at war and that it is getting to them. If they are charged guilty then they will and could be facing the death penalty if convicted.Do you think that they should be convicted or let go because they might have a mental condition?

  2. Nice article. It sucks to hear that soldiers are killing innocent people though. It's bad enough that people don't want us in Iraq and having stories like this just make matters worse. I believe these soldiers shouldn't be sentenced to death, but they should do some time in prison. (Like five years or something)
